Importance of Your Privacy
We believe in the concept of universal basic human rights, for instance the right to work, perhaps through entrepreneurial activities, as well as the right to education and the right to privacy. To ensure that all Our Users’ privacy is treated equal, We implement the EU GDPR framework of individual data protection and privacy rights to all Our Users, no matter where in the world You live and access and/or use the Services, to the extent possible by local laws.
At Edventures, the importance of Your privacy is obvious to Us. We understand that You entrust Us with certain private information to help Us provide various features and services that help You grow and learn as an entrepreneur. That’s what Edventures is all about – taking You closer to making Your dreams come true. In order to do so, We need to handle a lot of data, and some of that data will be coming from You. It is therefore essential that You understand what kind of personal information We collect and why.
This Privacy Policy describes what kind of personal information We collect from You, the various purposes for which We may process Your personal data and how We handle that collected personal information. It also describes Your privacy and data protection rights and how You can exercise them. By using or accessing the Services in any manner, You acknowledge that You accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy and that You consent to that We will collect, use, and share Your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. Remember that Your use of the Services is at all times subject to Our Terms of Service, which incorporates this Privacy Policy. Any terms We use in this Privacy Policy have the definitions given to them in Our Terms of Service.
Special note regarding Your business idea
Please note that We will never steal, copy, emulate or share Your business idea(s) submitted by You through the Services, with the purpose to execute any idea(s). Your idea is Your idea, and that is final. Our business is to support Your idea, which is where We put all Our efforts. However, please keep in mind that just having an idea does not get You far, and that the execution of an idea is what makes the difference. That is what the Services are purposefully built for — to help You increase Your chances to successfully launch and grow Your business idea(s) and project(s).
Personal information We collect
We only collect information You intentionally provide through the Services, such as Your profile information, business idea(s) and goal(s), as well as some technical information coming from Your Device(s). Our legal grounds for handling personal information
There are three different legal grounds on which We rely to use Your personal information. Our first legal ground is that the use of Your personal information, as described in this Privacy Policy, may be necessary to perform the Agreement You have with Us, for example to give You access to the Services, to register and maintain Your account, to enable advisory guidance and help, to help with support issues and to make sure that the Services performs as intended or to respond to Your requests. If You do not provide personal information that We need to fulfill Our legal requirements or Our Agreement, We may not be able to enter or perform the Agreement with You. For example, We require You to provide Us with personal information in order to give You access to the Services, to register and maintain Your account, to offer guiding entrepreneurship information and support, to help with support issues and to make sure that the Services performs as intended.
